Our 9:15 a.m. Sunday morning service is a Jazz Mass. The Jazz Mass Quartet (JMQ) was formed from a group of diverse musicians who also perform as the jazz group Moments Notice. They have performed as a unit since 2000, doing various styles of jazz, as well as R&B, Rock and Reggae.

The musicians were intrigued by the offer to perform the Jazz Mass at Saint Ambrose and were eager to see how their sound would translate to Christian music. JMQ is an ongoing musical experiment as the musicians continue to work with the melodies and chord structures of traditional Christian music to blend them into their style of music.
